Where to find Street Art in New Orleans

You might be surprised to learn that during my many visits to New Orleans, I’ve spent very little time in the pursuit of street art. That’s partly because there isn’t any street art in the French Quarter, nor should there be, and what little there is in other neighborhoods had, until very recently, eluded me.

The street art/mural movement has started to catch on and I was thrilled to discover, stumble upon, some pretty nice pieces while walking town. I know there is more, and that I’ve missed a number of wonderful pieces, but time was limited and I look forward to seeking them out the next time I’m in town.
